Kirsten Beuthin is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over twenty-five years of experience who works in
private practice in San Francisco conducting psychoanalysis and psychoanalytically-oriented psychotherapy.
She holds a Master’s of Science degree in Clinical Psychology, and is a member, faculty, and a Training/Supervising Analyst at San Francisco Center for Psychoanalysis.
Her clinical training and expertise includes therapeutic work with children, adolescents, adult individual, couples, family therapy. She has specialized training and extensive experience in treating a variety of clinical issues including work with teenagers, parenting, problems with food and body image, addiction recovery, self-injury, working with couples and families, grief loss and depression,and sexuality. She has worked in residential, day treatment and outpatient settings, and provides supervision and consultation to clinicians.
